ABOUT US

I & I Reproduction, Inc. (I & I) is a Southern California based company located just south of Los Angeles. We began forming in the early 1970's with a couple of small Chevrolet rubber items and today we carry a vast array of direct manufactured rubber, chrome, metal stamping, hardware, and accessory items for antique Chevy's ranging from 1929 through 1954

HOW WE BEGAN

Our founder, George Ikari always had a passion for buying and restoring old Chevy's. He was always willing to travel to distant cities or states to go look at a car or truck that he was interested in purchasing. He would attend many swap meets and flea markets throughout the United States looking for the parts he needed for his current projects.

George became a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America (VCCA) in the early 1970's so he could chat and socialize with others who shared his passion and interest in old Chevy's.

Upon needing a horn rubber button for his 1933 Chevy panel truck and having no luck finding one that wasn't deteriorated from age and weather, George decided to make one by having a mold made from an original sample. As friends, associates, and member's of the VCCA club began requesting the need for this same item, as well as many others, George began making more molds and dies based on these requests. And that was the start of I & I Reproduction, Inc..
